BullGuard IS comes with antivirus protection, included antispyware software, powerful firewall, online backup and antispam module included. This version of BullGuard Web Security doesn’t have a parental control module but this is not a very bad thing if you don’t have kids. Old versions of Bull Guard will be automatically updated to new version without any cost. This is a good thing because 8.0 and previous versions of this software does not offer powerful security but this thing changed with 8.5 version. Installation process of BullGuard IS 8.0 is simple, fast and efficient. With few clicks you have installed a good Security Suite on your computer and you are protected by unwanted web threats.
One of the best things of BullGuard Internet Security 8.5 is the firewall. This is more efficient than previous editions. Firewall configuration is very easy to perform and advanced tab offer a very clear way to manage firewall settings. That version of firewall is low resources consuming too at a high level of protection. We tested BullGuard firewall and we can say is almost perfect firewall software because if offers a high level of security against hackers attacks.
Another improvement of BullGuard IS 8.5 is the spam filtering system. It’s used with success against phishing attempts and usual spam emails. Independent laboratories do not certified the antivirus module of BullGuard but we test this anti-virus against a lot of threats and we can say we are surprised. Almost no virus it remains undetected and we can say this Security Suite offers a good antivirus capability and a good level of any malware protection.
BullGuard Internet Security 8.5 version can be installed on “old” Windows 2000 but it runs perfectly on Windows XP and Vista Operating System computers.
